The Boca Grande & Placida area have bragging rights for some of the clearest waters in South West Florida! The waters here are home to countless species of Fish, Turtles, Dolphin, Manatee and so much more!
We launch from a cove offering very calm and shallow water, making for an easy paddle, and has direct access to the very popular Boca Grande Sandbar and nearby Islands!

Our Clear Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards are the best way to spend your day on the water! Get out to have fun, and view the Amazing ocean life around you!
Not only are the Clear Kayaks Fun, they are Safe! Made from poly carbonate, which is the same material as bullet-proof glass! All rentals include USCG approved life vests.
We now also offer Kaku Kayaks & SUPS, as well as Canoes! All great for fishing or exploring!
Our Owners
Glass Bottom Rentals is owned and managed by Aaron Koher. The Massachusetts native has called Florida Home since 2006. Full time Adventurist and water advocate, he spends his working hours and time off Enjoying all that Florida has to offer!
